Itinerary of 4 Days Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes Tour with Hotel

Day 1: Dunhuang
After your arrival in Dunhuang, pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After a short rest, tour guide will lead you to visit Echoing-Sand Dune and Crescent Lake. There, you will also experience an unforgettable short camel-riding. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
- Echoing-Sand Mountain: renowned as the sand dunes offering a fabulous view of the desert.
- Crescent Lake: a crescent-shaped lake in an oasis, a natural wonder located 6 km south of Dunhuang city.

Day 2: Dunhuang (B, L)
Pick you up from your hotel on departure time. Todaky you will able to visit Mogao Grottoes. Enjoy one of the three famous ancient sculptural sites of China in Mogao Grottoes and continue your journey to the Dunhuang Museum. After the whole day tour, transfer you back to your hotel.
- Mogao Grottoes: known as Thousand Buddha Cave, it is world's largest and best preserved treasure house of Buddhist art.

Day 3: Dunhuang (B, L)
After breakfast, pick you up from your hotel and lead you to visit the Yumen Pass, Great Wall of Han Dynasty and Yangguan Pass. Enjoy the nature and ancient part of the Great Wall in Dunhuang. Both passes, Yumen Pass and Yangguan Pass were the two most famous passes leading to the north and west from Chinese territory. Around the area, there also was used as the important point on Silk Road. After the whole day tour, transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 4: Dunhuang (B) Tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and send you to the airport. See you off.

The must join tour if you want see many major and interesting attractions inside the city. Not just for the highlights taken to but the opportunity to ask lots of questions were so satisfying. We had a great and at the same time enjoyable trip. Took a lot of impressive, interesting photos along the way. 4 days in Dunhuang was really worth to spend.

Such a nice experience to explore Dunhuang, an ancient city of China! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing many old historical sites that spread over the city. Our tour guide always took good care of us and she speaks excellent English. A very interesting and enjoyable 4 days Dunhuang tour. Definitely worth doing!
