Itinerary of 3 Days Beijing Bus Tour Packages

Day 1: Beijing (L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel around 8:00am and then drive to the Ming Tomb. Sightseeing on the Ming Tombs of Changling takes about 1 hour and finishes at about 10:45am. Before having lunch, you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. Enjoy a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
- Ming Tombs: Buried 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty, it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China.
- Changling: the tomb of Emperor Chengzu and his empress is the largest and most magnificent one of Ming Tombs.
2. After a typical Chinese lunch, drive you to visit the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on this world wonder will last about 2 hours. Cable car here is available but optional.
- Badaling Great Wall: best-preserved section and the essence of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall situated in Beijing.
3. On the way to your hotels, we will drive by "Bird's Nest & water cube"---the main Olympic Stadium built in 2008. You will have a chance to take pictures in coach. After that, we arrange you to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts for a short time. Then transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 2: Beijing (L)
1. Pick you up from hotel on departure time and then drive you to the Tiananmen Square first. After about 40 minutes taking photos around, move on the visit the Forbidden City (including the Exhibition of Treasures).
- Tiananmen Square: the heart of Beijing, the largest public city square in the world.
- Forbidden City: best preserved imperial palace in China, the largest wooden cluster in existence in the world.
2. The next destination is Temple of Heaven, on the way, you will have a chance to visit and know more about the Chinese traditional medicine culture.
- Temple of Heaven: the place to worship the heaven for the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty.
3. After a typical Chinese lunch. Enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market.
4. The last destination today is Summer Palace. Sightseeing the largest and best preserved imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty extant in Beijing, as well as a famous classical imperial garden for about 1.5 hours.

5. At last, transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 3: Beijing (L)
1. Pick up at your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am and drive you to Beijing Zoo to see the lovely Giant Pandas. You have 40 minutes to take photos of the cute animal.
- Beijing Zoo:the largest treasure house of animals in China, also there are lovely pandas.
2. Then take you to the Lama Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. Before having lunch at 12:00, you have 45 minutes to visit the Ceramic Shop.
- Lama Temple: with more than 300 years, it is the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery of Gelug Sect.
3. Have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then you will be arranged to visit the old Beijing hutongs by rickshaws. During the tour, you will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, primary school, many famous old buildings, like the bell tower, where you can explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing. Hutong rickshaws tour lasts for 2 hours.
5. Then head to the Olympic Stadium. You have 45 minutes to take pictures outside the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. If you would like to take the inner view, the tour guide will help you in purchasing the entrance tickets, and you could enter the stadiums for sightseeing on your own.
6. On the way to your hotels, we also arrange the short visit to a China Tea House to enjoy tea ceremony. At last, transfer you back to your hotels.

I would highly recommend this tour to give a dot to dot idea of ancient Beijing. Thanks to all our guides who were guided us wandered around Beijing historical sites in details as well as told us about history behind it. Being that we only had 10 people in the group made it very personable and easier to ask questions and learn. Was a fantastic time!

3 days in Beijing we did spend with explored all of the most famous attractions around the city. Include all of the famous destinations that were difficult and might be a little bit far to visit by ourselves. If you want visit the ancient temple in Beijing, then this tour will take you to Lama Temple. With those 3 days tour, we saw everything and learned a lot about the history of Beijing.
