Itinerary of 2 Days Beijing Badaling Great Wall Tour Packages

Day 1: Beijing (L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel on departure time and then drive to the Ming Tomb first. Sightseeing on Ming Tombs for 1.5 hours.
- Ming Tomb: Buried 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty, it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China.
2. End of Ming Tombs tour at about 11:00am, before having lunch, travelers have 45 minutes to have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. It was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving as well.
3. After lunch, drive you to visit the famous Badaling Great Wall. Enjoy hiking and exploring the beauty of this world wonder in the afternoon.
- Badaling Great Wall: most famous Great Wall section in Beijing.
4. On the way back to Beijing downtown, we will drive by the exterior of "Bird's Nest" and "Water Cube" - the Olympic Stadium. You have chance to take pictures in coach. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts about 45 minutes.
5. At last, transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 2: Beijing (L)
1. Picking you up from your hotel on departure time, and then drive you to the Tiananmen Square first. After the tour around the square, move on to visit Forbidden City - the landmark of Beijing. The tour in Forbidden City include the Exhibition of Treasures.
- Tiananmen Square: the heart of Beijing, the largest public city square in the world.
- Forbidden City: best preserved imperial palace in China, the largest wooden cluster in existence in the world.
2. Drive 20 minutes to get to the Temple of Heaven. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will have a short visit of Chinese traditional medicine culture.
- Temple of Heaven: the place to worship the heaven for the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty.
3. After a typical Chinese lunch in the restaurant. Enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market.
4. Then take 30 minutes driving to the Summer Palace. Enjoy sightseeing in the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden for about 1.5 hours.
- Summer Palace: the largest and best preserved imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty extant in Beijing.
5. At last, transfer you back to your hotel, tour end!

The guides were very knowledgeable and willing to field questions. We learned a lot about Beijing as well as history and culture of China. Picking up and dropping us off at our hotel was helpful since it was my first time visit Beijing and we unfamiliar with the city and Mandarin. Tour was very well organized probably one of the Best tour.

This was a superb trip which met and even exceeded our expectations. It offered a great variety of experiences, from hike on the Great Wall till explored Beijing highlights such as Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven etc. A very memorable outing, well worth of money. Really enjoyed the tour, especially that was my first time visit Beijing.
