Itinerary of Top 10 China Tours - 10 Days Beijing Xian Guilin Shanghai Tour

• Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
  Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

  Day 2: Beijing (B)
  Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. At the evening, you will enjoy evening show (Kungfu show of Acrobatics or Peking Opera). After the day tour, transfer back to your hotel!
  - Tiananmen Square: the largest public square in the world. It is 880 meters from north to south, and 500 meters from east to west, with a total area of 440,000 square meters and can hold one million people.
  - Forbidden City: the largest ancient imperial palaces where 24 emperors, 14 of the Ming and 10 of the Qing, ruled the country from here over a span of nearly 500 years.
  - Temple of Heaven: The temple was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests.

  Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
  Visit the Badaling Great Wall. After lunch, visit the Ming Tomb, then the exterior view of Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and the Water Cube (Olympic Aquatic Center) in the afternoon.
  - Badaling Great Wall: As its name implies it gives access to every direction. With an elevation of 600 meters it is the most famous and best-preserved section of the Great Wall.
  - Ming Tomb: also called Shisanling (literally, Thirteen Tombs), it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China. They are mausoleums of thirteen emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

  Day 4: Beijing - Xian (B)
  Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Summer Palace. After explore this royal imperial garden, you will take flight to Xian. When you arrival in Xian airport, the guide will pick you up and transfer to hotel.
  - Summer Palace: The largest and best preserved imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty extant in Beijing, as well as a famous classical imperial garden.

  Day 5: Xian (B, L, D)
  Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. After lunch in the afternoon, visit the Provincial History Museum and the Ancient City Wall. At night, visitors could enjoy entertain and majestic Tang Dynasty Show and the Dumpling Dinner at Shaanxi Opera Theatre. After the show, transfer back to your hotel!
  - Terra Cotta Warriors: It is a part of the Qin emperor's tomb complex, the Terra Cotta Warriors is the greatest findings in the archeology world.
  - Provincial History Museum: One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.
  - Ancient City Wall: the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

  Day 6 : Xian – Guilin (B)
  This morning our guide will escort you to visit Xian Museum and another ancient landmark of the Tang Dynasty, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Then extend your journey to the lively Muslim Street. After that, you will take a flight to Guilin. On arrival in Guilin, the guide will pick you up and transfer to hotel.

  Day 7:  Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin (B, L)
  Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. A short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. Transfer to Guilin in the evening.
  - Li River Cruise: From Guilin to Yangshuo. To travel the river, one will find its natural sights vary in different weathers, but are all beautiful.
  - Yangshuo: An ancient city town. Yangshuo is famous for its attractive hills and waters as well as its abundant production particularly for such fruits as sweet orange, tangerine, pomelo and persimmon.

  Day 8: Guilin - Shanghai (B, L)
  Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel.
  - Reed Flute Cave: One of the most famous caves in Guilin. The 240-meter-long cave contains numerous grotesque-shaped stalactities that form four zones of the cave: Stone Forest, Heavenly Pillar and Cloud Mountain, Crystal Palace and Zigzagging Gallery.
  - Seven Star Park: In the park is the famous Seven Stars Mountain, which has many water-eroded caves. Among these caves, the most famous scenic spot in the park is the Seven Stars Cave, which is inside the Putuo Hill.
  - Elephant Trunk Hill: shapes just like an elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, thus its name. The symbol of Guilin.

  Day 9: Shanghai (B, L)
  Pick you up from your hotel and visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, transfer you to the Bund area and Nanjing Road. Then take the boat and have a cruise on the Huangpu River. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel.
  - Shanghai Museum: ranked as China's best museum.
  - Yuyuan Garden: is considered one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens in the region.
  - The Bund: The former foreign settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial period.
  - Nanjing Road: The most famous thoroughfare for shopping and entertainment in Shanghai.

 

• Day 10: Departure from Shanghai (B)
  Transfer to Shanghai Airport, see off.
