Itinerary of 1 Day Luoyang Shaolin Temple Tour - Chinese Kungfu Show

1. Tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Railway Station in Luoyang on the decided time and after that you will have a full day tour in Shaolin Temple. It was established in 495AD in Beiwei Dynasty for the housing of Batuo, the famous monk who came to Luoyang, which was the ancient capital for spreading Buddhism at that period. The Shaolin Temple itself is located 80km southeast of Luoyang.
- Shaolin Temple: known as "Forest of Dagobas", it is also the cradleland of Chinese Kung Fu.
2. After the Shaolin Temple, you will visit the Pagoda Forest, a graveyard for the monks during that age.
3. The last item of the day tour is Shaolin Kung Fu show which performed by Shaolin Tagou Kung Fu School.
4. After the tour ends, the tour guide will send you back to your hotel in Luoyang.

The driver picked us up from the train station right on time and our local tour guide made the day! She is not only a friendly and understanding people but she also shared the history of the area and was a lot of fun. Saw the amazing original kungfu martial art in Shaolin Temple was a memorable experience for us. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

The full day tour was fantastic. We definitely needed a whole day for this beautiful ancient town. We did saw many old interesting historical places around the city of Luoyang. Those incredible attractions are Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest. We did learn a lot about culture and lifestyle of monks in China. We did also saw originally kungfu performance there. Memorable one!
