Itinerary of 1 Day Chengde Mountain Resort Tour

1. Tour guide will pick up from your hotel in Chengde in the morning then you will have a short visit to the beautiful and famous Chengde Mountain Resort.
- Chengde Mountain Resort: a large complex of outstanding Qing Dynasty imperial palaces and gardens.
2. Then you will visit Pule Temple which is one of the Eight Outer Temples in Chengde City.
- Eight Outer Temples: emperor's summer residence during Qing Dynasty with combination of Han and Tibetan architecture.
3. You will have a Chinese lunch and after that, you will visit Putuo Zongcheng Temple.
- Putuo Zongcheng Temple: a Qing Dynasty era Buddhist temple, also known as "Little Potala Palace".
4. After that, you will visit Puning Temple as the last destination of this one day tour of Chengde, and then we will bring you back to your hotel in Chengde and the tour end!
- Puning Temple: the complex was constructed in both Chinese and Tibetan architectural styles.

Could have spent all day in this gorgeous little town. Located not far from Beijing, Chengde has famous for its summer mountain resort. From our guide, we did know about the facts that the resort was used as the summer escape place for emperor at dynasty era of China. Took so many interesting photos inside the mountain resort, we were so satisfied with it!

We had an absolutely fantastic time. We did saw many impressive famous attractions inside the ancient city of Chengde. Chengde Mountain Resort and Putuo Zongcheng Temple are well worth seeing. The view of the palace, lake and temple are breathtaking! This trip is well worth doing if you want to see the highlight of Chengde!
